[Though he had been unaffected for the first several days of the experiment, Goku woke up one morning with a strange desire to become a wandering knight. Thankfully, he had been blessed with a (rusty) suit of armour, and managed to find a (poor quality) sword in the weapon shop, but there were still some more supplies that he needed before he could truly call himself a knight. Turning to the bizarre book-thing with his name on it, he makes a general request.]

Greetings, good people! I have need of several things before I can begin my journey - particularly, I am in need of a noble steed, and some form of royalty who can properly declare me to be a knight. As well, is there anyone who wishes to serve as my squire? I have not much time, for adventure calls for me! I can feel it in my bones!

[Throughout the day, he'll be wandering around town, solving any problems he finds (whether they're real problems or imaginary ones), and picking fights with buildings, believing them to be giants in disguise.]

[If he was in his right mind he would also remember that he's who he is because she invented said radar and found him, getting him out of the woods. Otherwise he probably would have lived his whole life there alone... Until Piccolo destroyed the world or something. Fortunately for him, she isn't going to get angry at him for forgetting or not understanding, there's no point in arguing if his mind is altered.

She sighs as they walk, if the technology level was a bit higher and it wasn't so impossible to find materials she could try to create a device that would avoid them to be affected by experiments. At least for Goku.]

Ah, I see.

[It doesn't take long for the two of them to get back to town, though once they get there, Goku suddenly turns serious, pointing his sword at the nearest buildings.] They must have planned this somehow! We've been ambushed!

No. Please, someone tell her he's pointing his sword at an invisible illusionary giant only he can see. He's not point it at a building, right? It's one thing that he would have altered memories and mind, and another that on tops of that he's utterly nuts!!

She is tempted to ask him if he's sure they weren't there before he left but looking at him being so serious... God, why. Maybe she should try to see if she can knock him out and bring him home? No, she's not going to be dragging that heavy man around, she didn't do it when he was a kid, she won't do it now!

You point your sword at the buildings, Goku. Bulma is a bit busy right now trying to not facepalm at you.]

Stay back - I'll defeat them! [...And now Goku's running at a building, trying to stab it with his sword. Thankfully, he has no idea how to use a sword, so he's not doing as much damage to the building as he could. Feel free to facepalm or drag him away from there.]

[Or she could ignore him and continue to the house and lock the door, feigning to not know him. She could do it, right? What? Son Goku? No, I don't know him... Huh? Bulma? No, no, my name's Buruma! Close enough but not the same, right?

It could totally work.

Bulma looks at Goku with a frown. You know... It's good he has gone nuts like this while his mind is altered. Otherwise he would have just fired a kamehameha at the building and turn it into ashes or something even smaller. Mutenroshi turned a castle to rumble with one, with Goku's power the building wouldn't stand a chance.

She let's him play with his sword and the giant a bit more, at one point trying to check the time on her watch before remembering she's not wearing it right now. She rolls her eyes, either way she's getting tired of this.]

It doesn't seem to be having much of an effect, does it? Are you hungry by any chance? Maybe if we run away and you eat something you will be able to face them properly.

[Wait, can she get him into the house without him thinking it's a giant eating them? Hopefully, the house isn't that big after all.]

[Goku continues stabbing the house ineffectually for a while, but he perks up at the mention of food.] I suppose it would be more difficult to fend off these fiends on an empty stomach! Very well, I shall spare these monsters for now, and return to defeat them once I am full! [He directs one last glare at the "giants", but as they don't appear to be moving, he continues onwards towards their house.]

[At least his stomach is the same size as always. Problem is... If this is a fight for him he probably won't just forget about it once they get home. She will have to think of something... Well, for now she can make sure it lasts the most as possible, it's not as if she's going to go and start cooking without getting a bath and change clothes first.]

Look at that, they are so terrified by the knowledge that you're going to replenish energy that they can't move.

[Sarcasm, one day she will accept that it's useless with Goku.]

Haha! Cowardly lot, aren't they? But these are simply scouts - the others will be braver or more foolhardy, I'm sure! [Despite that statement, at least he's not trying to stab the buildings any more. Food's much more important at the moment.]

[Food is always much more important than buildings anyway. Even buildings disguised as giants.

Still, who would have guessed, Goku's inability to get sarcasm is being useful now. It's not good to argue with crazy people after all, but her sarcasm is basically doing that.]

Honestly, I would be scared as well if I had to fight you.

[She had been scared when they first met and he was all fine and dandy after a shoot to the head.]
