I was wondering: who's the strongest person in the world that you came from?

Yet you're way stronger than the Androids as well, weren't you? And stronger than any thing that came after that. I'm not sure it's a good idea for anything stronger than you to exist.

I'm sure it'll be fine. If they're nice, then it'll just be a friendly sparring match and there'll be nothing to worry about! If they're evil, then I'll just have to find a way to surpass 'em. Things'll work out in the end, I'm sure of it.

Son-kun, remember when I said that it may be because of you that so many dangerous people seem to appear lately?

This is what I refereed about back then. This attitude of wanting the strongest enemies just to have fun fighting, with the mere plan of "surpassing them somehow" together with "use the dragon balls to resurrect anyone who died" once it's all over. It's that careless attitude which calls for trouble.

Aw, it ain't so bad. It's worked so far, after all! Besides, there's always the Dragon Balls on Namek, in case there's an emergency and things don't work out.

Except that here we have no dragon balls at all. Don't you think that may be a problem?

...Well, those Malnosso guys bring people back to life, right? That's kinda like the Dragon Balls!

With a price, Son-kun. People lose something important when they are brought back to life. What if you died and were brought to life without your ability to fight, huh? Can you imagine how your life would be if you were unable to fight?

Oh, yeah... [He considers it with a somber look on his face - what would he do if something like that happened? This serious reflection doesn't last long, though - he gives off a goofy grin after a few moments of thinking.] I'm sure I'd be able to work my way back up to my old strength eventually! There's a buncha good fighters here, and I'm sure some of 'em would be able to help out! [After all, the Malnosso wouldn't do that to all of them at once... right?]

Sure, if I talked about your strength. But I'm talking about your ability to fight, no matter how much you trained, you wouldn't be able to throw a punch properly, or a kick, or one of your kamehames. All your strength intact but without the coordination needed to properly use it.

[Ah, maybe this is a bit too complicated for him after all.]

They could do that?! Geez... Well, I dunno what I'd do then. Still, I'm sure that someone out there would be able to handle it! If they couldn't do it alone, then they'd have to work together!

[Sigh.]

It must be really wonderful to be able to be as carefree as you are, really.
