I was wondering: who's the strongest person in the world that you came from?

Um... What's a Gensokyo? [...At least he didn't ask if he could eat it.]

My homeland. I assumed that much could be implied from the conversation we were having.

Oh, okay! So what are some of those people like? The ones that could be called the strongest, I mean.

They're of varying types. One of them is here with us in Luceti, a shrine maiden by the name of Reimu Hakurei. She isn't much for training, though - most of her power is hereditary.

In fact, many of the strongest people there, be they human or youkai, are somewhat lazy. The only two I know of that are exceptions to that are a vampire and a human magician by the name of Marisa Kirisame... the former I am not particularly fond of speaking of, but the latter is arguably the strongest human in Gensokyo, next to Reimu.

I ain't so sure about that - anything can be made stronger with training!

Well, it's good to hear that there's some exceptions to that. So what's a youkai?
