Ninth Meal [action]

[Erza will be, as usual for these sorts of events, looking around for any familiar faces. By the time night rolls around, she can probably be found in Seventh Heaven - not only does she really need a drink right now, but she figures that any members of her guild might head in that direction, given that it sort of resembles the guild headquarters.]

[Goku is just going to fly around the enclosure - if there's any familiar ki signatures among the crowd, he'll probably be able to sense them. Also, while he's out here, he'll do his best to bring people back into town if they're lost somewhere outside of it.]

[As for the Joker, he'll be wandering through the crowd, trying to figure out what the best way would be to cause some sort of huge panic. In an attempt to blend in, relatively speaking (and make it so nobody rips his wings off while his back is turned), he'll be wearing a trenchcoat to cover up his wings. They're rather uncomfortable, stuffed into the coat like that, but he's used to some form of discomfort given how many times he's been at Arkham.]

[Someone else is among the crowd and he looks quite more curious than shock like some other people. And... he's riding a strange horse with a weird bird following them at high altitude.]

[It's the flaming horse that initially catches his attention, but it's not long before he sort-of recognizes the person riding it. He's only heard that #18 had a twin brother who was also an android, but the similarity between her and this newcomer and (as he gets closer) the Red Ribbon symbol are kind of give-aways. The fact that he can sense ki coming from him is odd, but he's never met an android in Luceti before - maybe showing up here changes that.]

Hey, #17, right? How's it going? ...And why's your horse on fire?

[Usually it wouldn't matter if he came from the sky but how the guy knew his name? Possibly a friend of Goku's, great. 17 is shaken up by Goku's appearance, no powers and all. Being human sucked. ...did he caught on? He remained calm, for now.]

I suppose you're one of Goku's friends.

[Perhaps more chipper than the others he recalled. If he had access to his data, surely it would have files and an image of Goku. Once again, being human made the best of him, or worst. Sorry Goku, he'll ignore the second question for now.]

Huh? No, I'm Goku! [He has no problem with admitting it - it's been years since he's had to worry about androids trying to kill him, and he figures that, if 17 still wanted to, he could convince him not to do it.]

[Yeah right, 17 wouldn't think about a fight. And he doesn't plan on sicking his pokemons at him. It's suicidal.]

You're Goku?

[He chuckled to himself. Ironic to finally meet Goku after death.] Well then, that changes everything. Pleasure to finally meet you, Goku. Given under circumstances. [He thumbed his Ponyta.] It's a Ponyta, she's suppose to do that.

Yep! Figured that doctor guy would've showed you a picture or something, but nice to meet you too!

[And as for the Ponyta...] Really? 'Cause I've been around the world plenty of times, and I've never seen that!

Something happened along the way and the image slipped my mind. No hard feelings.

[And now he's petting his Ponyta. Look Goku, not burning.] She came from a place called Johto. She's what they called a Pokemon.

Aw, it's okay - with all that's happened, it'd make sense that something like that'd slip your mind!

So you're one of those pokey man trainers? [He's never going to pronounce that correctly.] I've heard about some of 'em - they seem pretty interesting!

[Okay, he chuckles at that. He probably will never understand why Gero wants this guy dead, and it doesn't concern him. Damnit Goku, he wants pockey now.]

Capture them, train them, and they got gym leaders you battle. And I suppose the sense of adventure if you're into that. You should come to Johto and drop by one day. Might be fun. [And then become all human with some strength left. He's already picturing Vegeta there haha.]

[Well, even if somehow he missed the familiar ki signature since it's pretty small, it may be difficult for him to not hear a certain female yelling at the top of her lungs as soon as she spots him in the sky. Bulma isn't a happy camper in her second time in Luceti, not that she was one the first time but at least back then she was at ground level. Blinking and finding herself sitting on top of one of the tallest trees in the forst of Luceti isn't something she likes. At least it seems that it's winter so the tree is mostly bare and thus she may be easier to spot.]

SON-KUUUN!!!! HERE!!!! GET ME DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT!!! PLEASE!!! SON-KUUUUN!!! I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!!!

[Well, he definitely heard that. He'll be zooming on over, coming to a stop in front of the tree.]

I dunno about that - Krillin was younger than you the first time he died, right? [He's only joking - even as he says that, he's moving to help her out of the tree.]

[Glare. Bulma's not amused.]

He was an ugly brat, bald and with no nose who was as much a fight maniac as you. Not a beautiful, intelligent, young lady who is defenseless and harmless like me.

[Lies, she has enough intelligence to make up for her lack of physical strength regarding being dangerous. Anyway she's going to cling to Goku's neck as soon as he's withing reach. Sure she can still fall but she feels much safer clinging to one of her friends than sitting on a branch even in the middle of a fight.]

[Goku's just going to laugh that off and float towards the ground.] So do you remember anything 'bout the last time you were here? 'Cause I can try to explain it if you don't, but I'm still not that good at it! [He always misses the minor details, like the reality-warping experiments or the seemingly random drafts.]

You always so subtle, Son-kun. Remember me how did you manage to keep from me for so long that I would have a kid with Vegeta, please. Because it hasn't been even two minutes and you have already done enough to blow up my mind twice if I wasn't the same Bulma that was here before.

[Only said with mild annoyance, but really, you don't go and ask "remember about the last time you were here" on first meeting out of the blue like that.]

Though I suppose it suits you, you were wishing me to have a healthy baby right after Trunks asked you to keep the secret.

[So basically he didn't really keep it, he was just lucky they didn't have a clue of what he was saying and disregarded it as "typical Goku". She sighs and smiles, looking at her friend from head to toe.]

Anyways, seems that you're doing fine. I'm glad, still no luck with destroying that barrier?

[ And cue one wife who seems to be angry for the first few seconds before she notices the spiky haired ~~jerk~~ husband of hers as she waves at him, a small smile on her face as she yells out from the top of her lungs: ]

Heeeeey! Goku, over here!

Hey! [He floats down to the ground, the grin on his face even bigger than normal.] Wow, you're here too? This is great!

[When he lands, he goes to give her a big hug - he's been stuck here a while, and unlike those sorts of situations back home, he doesn't have new methods of training to get distracted by.] How're you liking the place so far?

[ Well, she's not all that pleased about the fact that Goku is happy about being in such a weird place, but she'll return the hug back before taking a step back, placing her hands on her hips, as she decides to give him a lecture. ]

I find you and you're just asking that? Goku, we've been kidnapped, for crying out loud! [ Because priorities. ] I mean, what if Gohan's here?

[ Translation: he better not be or else she's going to panic. ]

[He's way too carefree to worry about that sort of thing. -_-] Yeah, but I don't figure we'll be here for too long. Vegeta and Bulma were a lot younger than me when they came here, and I don't remember 'em disappearing, so everything'll work out!

[A quick check for any large or familiar ki signatures and...] Nope! [Presumably, Goten wouldn't have arrived by this point - no need to make Chi-Chi worry more than she has to.] And besides, it wouldn't take long for him to find us if he did show up! [...That's not the point, Goku.]

[ GOKU, PLEASE.... ]

Disappearing?!

[ That makes her shudder, because the prospect of leaving Gohan alone at home when she's here with her idiotic (well, 90% of the time, anyway) husband is a sign of something really, really bad happening.

Way to make them her worry even more. ]

And that's not the point! It would be awful if he was taken to this... [ She stops, a completely overdramatic pause as she clenches her teeth, her eyes already wet with tears. ] This monstrosity of a place!

[ Because honestly. ]

[Is some of the family ki familiar? Because there's a bitty super saiyan with a strong family resemblance presently trying to beat a hole in the invisible barrier.

So far, the barrier's winning.]

[Oh, it's definitely familiar - when he senses it flare up, he'll use Instant Transmission to head over there. He finds the sight kind of funny - he tried doing the exact same thing shortly after he got here, with about as much success.

Still, he'll wait a bit before talking, to avoid startling his son too much.] Need any help with that?

[WHOA OKAY THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE HERE. Goten's punch halts half a foot away from the barrier, eyes wide.]

D-daddy? You're here too?

[Which can only mean--!!]

Is this the afterlife? Did I die in my sleep?? Mom says I'm not allowed to die!! [She's gonna be SO. MAD.]

[Goku laughs before giving Goten a big hug to try and reassure him.]. Nah, you're not dead! Lots of people think that when they get here, but you don't get wings in the afterlife!

...Well, I guess you don't have wings, but you're in a place called Luceti! [The lack of wings doesn't bother him all that much - clearly, Goten's still alive, so there's probably nothing to worry about.] Nobody's found a way outta here yet, but all the food's free! [So clearly he has his priorities straight.]

[kyaaaaaaa Daddy hugs are so rare and special! Goten tries to burrow into it. Just a little. Daddy never pushes him away during huggy times provided there isn't mortal danger on its way.]

If there's a way out, you'll find it won't you Daddy? You're the strongest there is!

Yep! I just need to find the right spot to hit this barrier, and that should break it! [At least, that's what he tells himself. He's confident that he'll get out of here, though - every barrier has a limit to what it can take.]

Wow.

[Of course it's true! Daddy said it! And Daddy always says true things.]
